WELCOME TO THE HOME OF AFC TICKTON

The Club have a long and proud history dating back to the turn of the millennium when the Club was formed with only one boys team. The Club soon became known as a family orientated,  friendly organisation. Since that formation we have now grown to be one of the largest in the East Riding. We started with the motto “FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE” and stuck to it.

That now shows as players age 4 upward, in our development squads and Wildcats,  to players 60 years of age plus in our walking football. From one boys team to  now, in 25/26, near 40 teams and squads, that accounts for almost 400 players. Clear pathways for both sexes for all age steps. Wildcats to Ladies, Development academy  to Veterans  and Walking Football in the male side.

Along the way we have being at the forefront of grassroot football development in the County but along the way we have picked up awards for the Club. From our first local recognition in 2000 as the Junior Sports Club of the Year up to 2023 when we became the first Grassroot Football Club  in the East Riding County to win the converted award of East Riding  Sports Club of the Year.

This also went in hand with our rise from starting to become a Three Start Football Club, recognised by the Football Association. The highest level for Grassroots.
